Foundation Mission Statement

In support of the student body, the Dolvin Elementary School Foundation will strive to provide added financial support to uphold Dolvin's state and national reputation for Excellence in Education.

The Foundation is a non-profit corporation whose sole purpose is to raise money to benefit Dolvin's student body. The money raised by the Foundation will be used to purchase or fund equipment and/or academic programs over and above that which can be purchased or funded by Fulton County and PTA funds.

Advantages of the Foundation:

Donations are 100% tax deductible.
Many companies will match charitable contributions by employees.
Foundation is allowed to carry over money from one year to the next.
Foundation can purchase items for Dolvin that the school itself and PTA are prohibited by law from purchasing.
Foundation is permitted to accept gifts in addition to cash (e.g. stocks, bonds, rental property, land, etc.).
Foundation can enter into leases, guaranties, or other financial arrangements on behalf of Dolvin.
